Dr Marta Rendla

As a research fellow she researches economic and social manifestations of the living standards of Slovenes during socialism. She discovers their material world by identifying the economic capacity of households, the volume and structure of consumption, and the equipping of households with durable consumer goods. She also examines the characteristics of infrastructural goods and the availability of goods and services in the field of entertainment, culture and leisure. She pays special attention to the issue of housing supply and housing policy. She is the author of several works and contributions in the field of socio-economic and cultural history and victimology.
